We are actively working in Sanitation , Water and Girl Education Awareness Project where we are creating awareness among the rural and urban slums in various parts of India. We are creating awareness through various models of communication such as ICT and IEC tools and using more interactive methods such as Drama , Documentary film making , photography reports , shows and events.

We wants Interns to work with us on this project , We need a Mutlitasker with a ability to adapt according to challenging environment with minimal resources available. He/She need to be a go getter and self starter and ability to Initiate tasks on own. He or she would be working with Heeals team in conceptualization, formalization to implementation of the project. He/She would be involved in surveys , organizing campaigns , doing events , workshops from planning to implementation along with Heeals Team . Need to work along with Heeals team , but also need to have ability to handle the project on his or her own whenever required and should be able to plan and implement the activities accordingly :

Following activities a Intern need to perform :-

• Planning ,Coordination , Conceptualization to Implementation of the project
• Implementing awareness project in the targeted areas through the use of ICT and IEC tools
• Implementing and planning whole Survey Process with Heeals Team
• Making documentary movies along with Indian Bollywood director as a guide
• Doing photography and making pictorial reports on various subjects related to project
• Doing secondary and primary research
• Writing press releases and content related to project for reports
• Idealization and Knowledge Management
• Pamphlet and Brochure Designing
• Teaching elementary English , Science and other subjects to Girl and street children in Project Areas
• Designing a prototype for elementary Science and English school education book with relation to Girl Hygiene , Sanitation and Water 

Requirement :

One basic requirement for a volunteer and intern is that either he or she speaks or write English ,Spanish ,French , Russian or Hindi. We look for people, who have a keen interest in community development, good team worker, show good initiative, are open-minded and willing to work in a new and challenging environment.

Interns are free to pick any area of there expertise from above given tasks and duties or they can also work on all the above tasks and duties if they want. He/She can also pick a topic of there studies and if they wants to do any other different tasks from the one highlighted above can also perform and do as per the go ahead from Heeals Management.

We can not provide any Stipend to the students as we are young Non For Profit Organization , run by a groups of young professional with a common goal of community development and works on a tight budget ,but as a Intern a student can learn a lot while working with us as they are not only involved in the Implementation project on there own but they will also participate in the conceptualization , formalization and implementation process of the organization , where they can acts a primary resource for the organization giving advices,ideas and ways of implementing them, and can learn all the functions and processes involved in running of an organization effectively first hand.

 Being a Non Profit Organization and Working on Tight budget we do ask for One time Registration Fees of US $ 196  from our volunteers , all of this fees goes to project to help thousands of Women,Girls and Children , where volunteers implement the same and the fees is used in Water Sanitation Hygiene and Girl Education Project . Water Sanitation Hygiene & Girl Education Project

"It's Our Fundamental Right To Have Safe Drinking Water & Sanitation" 

The most precious thing in the world known to Mankind is Water without water there is no life, no human being. Safe Drinking water and sanitation are one of the two upmost needs of the Human Beings.

Unsafe drinking water and Sanitation facilities can lead to deadly disease which can severely affect the community and can have dreaded effects on their offspring.

India is the open defecation capital of the world where 638 million are defecating in the Open over 50 % of the population. 66 % Girl Schools don’t have functioning girl toilets in India.  Around 23 % Girls drop out of school every year in India due to lack of menstrual hygiene affecting the Girl Education Badly. Around 53% of Children in Age Group of 5-14 Do Not Wash their Hands after defecating. Every day 1000 children dies in India due to Diarrhea and other water borne diseases Diarrhea kills more children in India then Aids , Malaria and Measles Combined .

To minimize these issues, and making Women, Girl Child, Families and Community more aware Sanitation facilities in schools & communities, Menstrual and Personal Hygiene, methods of obtaining Safe Drinking Water, improve Water Supplies, and to promote Safe Hygiene Practice we started “Water Sanitation Hygiene & Girl Education Awareness Project” Project. It’s a pilot project of our organization which we are implementing in Uttar Pradesh Delhi NCR Region, Himachal Pradesh, Leh and Rajasthan.

We are a research based organization which is implementing the above said project through a three tier model which is actively used to provide Sanitation, Water & Hygiene Sustainable and Aware Society.

Children Informal Education Project

"Who opens a door for education close the doors of Poverty,Hunger & Prison"

In India Children living in streets, construction sites and slums accounts for major share of the children who are deprived of basic elementary education. 
According to a survey done in the past by Indian government stated that half of the education deprived children comes from these sectors.

In India million of unskilled porters, bricklayers and other low-caste labourers have left their native villages to escape extreme rural poverty and to find a job in big cities. These migrant workers are spread across the country and travel from one area of work to another along with their families. They live in temporary settlements, sometimes provided by the construction company, for the duration of the construction project and then move to another site.

Apart from being deprived of the education, the children also remain deprived of safe drinking water; clean sanitation facilities and ways of obtain hygiene practices. They remain unaware from many government schemes about education, food, safe drinking water, health, sanitation etc.
We identified these problems and issues to bring life of the children into the mainstream of society. We are working towards in Creating a knowledge society. 

We are working on to create a Interactive model of education , where we  teach children by increasing interactive learning , play and study method among the teachers volunteers and children. We encourage a more inclusive model of education where teachers, volunteers can taught children in small groups by play and learn method; we have included the following innovative learning methods to teach children:  

• Animated Teaching Videos
• Audio : Learning through stories and plays
• Street Plays and shows
• Games and role play activities 

We are constantly working on to achieve the following for a bright and educated street and migrated laborer children:

• Children with ability to read and write
• Physical , Mental and social development of children and their families
• Livelihood development
• Fundamental rights aware community 
• Able to avail there social service schemes from government

Our primary concern is to conserve the country’s natural resources, including lakes, rivers, forest, trees and ensuring prevention and abetment of pollution.

Our objectives are Prevention and control of pollution, a forestation and regeneration of degraded areas and Protection of the environment .Forest are renewable resource and contribute substantially to economic development .They play a major role in enhancing the quality of environment

We are working on to achieve the following tasks to protect and safe our environment:                                   

• To promote environmental awareness among all section of society
• To spread environment education especially in non formal system.
• To promote environment education through existing education institution.
•  Encourage NGO, media, community and other concerned organization for promoting awareness about environmental issue among the people at all levels.
• To mobilize peoples participation for preservation and conservation of environment.
• Encourage people to plant a tree in there locality.
• We encourage people to use recycled paper.
• We teach Children who are living in construction areas and unauthorized colonies how to make Recycle papers and its Uses and they can also make their livelihood by selling them into the markets.
